About
We make paintings, one at a time
OneArtSource is a small house for hand-painted reproductions and for paintings made from your own photos. Every canvas is started after someone orders it, and every owner sees their painting before it ships.
Why we started
Most of the paintings people love hang in museums and will never be for sale. The usual answer is a print. A print gives you the picture, but not the painting: no brushwork, no layers, nothing that changes as the light moves across a room.
We started OneArtSource to offer the other answer, the one that takes weeks instead of minutes.
What we hold to
- Painted, never printed. There is no printed image under the paint, and we do not sell prints on the side.
- Public domain only. We copy works whose copyright has ended, and paintings from photos you took or have permission to use. We never add a false signature.
- You see it first. Every finished painting is photographed and sent to its owner before it ships. If something is not right, it is changed.
- One price. No sales, no discount codes, no price raised so it can be cut later.
The painters
Our paintings are made by trained painters who work freehand in oil, starting from a blank canvas. A painting usually takes three to four weeks, including the time each layer needs to dry before the next goes on. The same care goes into a small portrait of a dog as into a copy of a Rembrandt.
What we look after
- Free tracked shipping to most countries in the world
- 90 days to send a painting back for a full refund
- A limited lifetime warranty against faults in the materials and workmanship
- A reply within 24 hours, weekends included, by email, text, WhatsApp or a phone call
The collection
Any public domain painting, from the early Renaissance to the first decades of the twentieth century. If it’s public domain, we paint it. Search it by title or artist to see its sizes and prices.
