About the museum

Caravaggio's The Taking of Christ, rediscovered in Dublin in 1990, is on indefinite loan to the gallery. Vermeer's Woman Writing a Letter, with her Maid and Velázquez's Kitchen Maid with the Supper at Emmaus are among the European highlights. Irish history painting includes Daniel Maclise's large The Marriage of Strongbow and Aoife.

OneArtSource is not connected to the National Gallery of Ireland. We paint reproductions of public domain works in its collection.
