About the museum
The collection fills gaps left by the nearby Prado, especially in early portraiture and 19th-century painting. Domenico Ghirlandaio's Portrait of Giovanna Tornabuoni, Vittore Carpaccio's Young Knight in a Landscape and Hans Holbein the Younger's portrait of Henry VIII are among its best known works. Later rooms move through Impressionism, with Degas's Swaying Dancer.
OneArtSource is not connected to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. We paint reproductions of public domain works in its collection.
