About the museum
The gallery is known for early Netherlandish and German painting. Pieter Bruegel the Elder's Netherlandish Proverbs fills one canvas with more than a hundred sayings. Two Vermeers hang here, The Glass of Wine and Woman with a Pearl Necklace. Hans Holbein the Younger's Portrait of the Merchant Georg Gisze and Caravaggio's Amor Vincit Omnia are also in the collection.
OneArtSource is not connected to the Gemäldegalerie. We paint reproductions of public domain works in its collection.
