About the museum

The Old Masters include Jan van Eyck's Lucca Madonna, Botticelli's Portrait of a Young Woman and Vermeer's The Geographer. Rembrandt's The Blinding of Samson is one of his most dramatic pictures. Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Tischbein's Goethe in the Roman Campagna, showing the writer resting among ruins, is a favourite in the German galleries.

OneArtSource is not connected to the Städel Museum. We paint reproductions of public domain works in its collection.
